The Faculty of Architecture, Cracow University of Technology is the best in Poland.
The curriculum Architecture and Urban Design is honoured.

In 2012, the curriculum Architecture and Urban Design offered at the Faculty of Architecture, Cracow University of Technology was acknowledged as the best curriculum in Poland. As the only one from among the curricula Architecture and Urban Design, it is included on the list of the Ministry of Education including 25 best curricula in Poland.

On Wednesday, September 26, 2012, during the first session of the Council of the Faculty of Architecture after holidays, the ceremony of presenting the FA CUT Deans – Dariusz Kozłowski, Prof. D.Sc. Ph.D. Arch. (the Dean in the previous term) and the current Dean Jacek Gyurkovich, Prof. D.Sc. Ph.D. Arch. – with a diploma from the Rector Magnificus of Cracow University of Technology, Professor Kazimierz Furtak.


The Faculty of Architecture, Cracow University of Technology has accreditations from the following institutions:

1. The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) since 1999
2. The Accreditation Commission for Technical Universities since 2002
3. The State Accreditation Commission 2006

In 2012, Appendix to Directive V was published by the European Commission in the Official Register of the European Union. It includes diplomas in the field of architecture at Cracow University of Technology which means that the graduates of the CUT Faculty of Architecture received acknowledged qualifications on the territory of the European Union.

In 2012, the curriculum “Architecture” at the Faculty of Architecture, Cracow University of Technology was indicated as the best by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and proposed for a new special quality-promoting subsidy.
