Opis idei projektu
The meaning of the “Modern Bazaar in Turkey” is explored in this project, along with its function in Turkish society today, economic effects, how to adapt the old bazaar idea to the needs of the modern world, and strategies for bridging the gap between the old and the new in a world that is changing quickly. The project is aimed to present a fully functioned and eco-friendly shopping center solution to Karacabey through socioeconomic and cultural analysis of Turkey’s bazaars. The Project relieves the needs for socializing of the people and support entire transportation system with eco-friendly solution while serving as a Modern Bazaar. With the analysis of historical development, cultural importance and society needs , an opened air bazaar, just like in the past, is designed for the region located on the historical ‘Silk Road’, is generating its own energy, and silk production and sales are reminded in the design.
