What: 3.5 weeks of intensive work with young students from all over the world on an exciting architectural design project, curated by renowned architects.

Times: In Spring and Autumn of every year. Next workshop: 01 September – 25 September 2026
Cost: Each candidate can apply for a scholarship that covers the course fees and working materials as well as accommodation in Hamburg and the excursion location for the duration of the workshop.
For: Bachelor & Master students (architecture)

In three and a half weeks (24 days), you will work intensively in four international groups of 4 students each (16 participants in total) on a contribution to a future-relevant architectural topic (4 designs in total). Supported by your own tutor and under the guidance of a gmp partner you will be able to develop your design in discussion with prestigious architects.
Who is the aac workshop for?
The aac workshop is for you if you are:
– studying or have recently graduated in architecture;
– keen to take part in intensive, collaborative design work in an international environment;
– ready to spend three and a half weeks working intensively on an exciting real-world project

What happens after you apply for an aac workshop?
– Once the application deadline has passed, all applications received will be carefully reviewed by a jury.
– You will receive a response no later than two weeks after the application deadline, informing you:
1. whether you have been offered a place on the workshop, and
2. whether you have been awarded a gmp scholarship.
