Opis idei projektu
The proposed SPA & Wellness Complex is located in Złockie. The site was selected due to its strong compositional potential created by the local road alignment, opening towards the western hillside and enabling a gradual transition from a narrow green corridor into an open landscape. The main entrance is located centrally on the northern edge, with access to underground and surface parking.
The architectural layout is divided into three functional sections. The northern section contains the lobby, gastronomy, and operational facilities. The central transfer zone forms the main circulation hub, linking all functions and opening onto an observation terrace. The southern section houses the SPA & Wellness area, organized around a sequential bathing experience based on temperature and atmosphere, including pools, saunas, massage rooms, and technical facilities below ground. The upper three floors contain stepped residential units of increasing standard, all oriented southwest with terraces and direct landscape connections. The form follows the steep topography through stepped volumes aligned with contour lines. Corten steel façades reference the local mofetta phenomenon, complemented by basalt panels, timber elements, and locally sourced slate. Sustainable solutions include ground heat pumps, heat recovery systems, green roofs, rainwater collection, and reuse of waste heat from SPA operations.
Proposed project integrates contemporary wellness functions with the cultural and natural landscape of the Muszyna region, reinterpreting historical bathing traditions through modern architectural and technological solutions.
