Katedra Urbanistyki i Architektury Struktur Miejskich Wydziału Architektury Politechniki Krakowskiej ma zaszczyt zaprosić na wykład profesor Mario Cerasoli, który odbędzie się 21 maja 2026 r. o godz. 17:00 w sali wykładowej P5, ul. Podchorążych 1. Wykład odbędzie się w języku angielskim w ramach pobytu Mario Cerasoli jako profesora wizytującego na Wydziale Architektury PK.
Mario Cerasoli – architekt, doktor nauk w dziedzinie urbanistyki i planowania regionalnego Uniwersytetu „La Sapienza” w Rzymie. Od 2002 roku wykładał urbanistykę na Wydziale Architektury Uniwersytetu „Roma Tre”. Od 2005 roku był pracownikiem naukowym, a w latach 2018–2024 pełnił funkcję profesora nadzwyczajnego urbanistyki na Wydziale Architektury. Od marca 2024 r. jest profesorem nadzwyczajnym urbanistyki na Wydziale Planowania, Projektowania i Technologii Architektury Uniwersytetu La Sapienza w Rzymie. Jest członkiem Naukowej Rady Dydaktycznej studiów magisterskich drugiego stopnia CRITERI – Zintegrowane działania na rzecz adaptacji, rewitalizacji i zarządzania historycznymi centrami miast na Uniwersytecie La Sapienza w Rzymie. Jest również zastępcą koordynatora projektu współpracy rozwojowej OCSHC „Oriental Cuba Small Historical Centres” (2022–2025), finansowanego przez włoską agencję współpracy rozwojowej AICS i realizowanego przez Uniwersytet Roma Tre we współpracy z Oficina del Conservador de la Ciudad w Santiago de Cuba oraz Universidad de Oriente (Santiago de Cuba). W latach 2022–2024 pełnił również funkcję koordynatora tego projektu. W latach 2020–2024 był dyrektorem wspólnego programu magisterskiego ReUHREF „Odzyskiwanie dziedzictwa miejskiego i finansowanie nieruchomości” (Uniwersytet Roma Tre – Uniwersytet Rzymski „Tor Vergata”). Jego główne zainteresowania badawcze to: infrastruktura, mobilność i terytorium, układy urbanistyczne miast i osad podmiejskich; rewitalizacja historycznych centrów miast. Obecnie prowadzi i koordynuje badania oraz projekty dotyczące tych zagadnień zarówno na poziomie krajowym, jak i międzynarodowym, także w krajach rozwijających się.

The lecture will take place in English as part of Mario Cerasoli’s stay as a visiting professor at the Faculty of Architecture, CUT.
Mario Cerasoli – Architect, PhD in Urban and Regional Planning at Rome University “La Sapienza”. Since 2002 he teaches Urban Planning at the Department of Architecture of the “Roma Tre” University. Since 2005 he was a researcher , and since 2018 till 2024 he was Associate Professor of Urban Planning at the Department of Architecture. Since March of 2024 he is Associate Professor of Urban Planning at the Department of Planning Design and Technology of Architecture of Sapienza-University of Rome. He is part of the Scientific Teaching Council of the second level master CRITERI – Integrated actions for the adaptation, enhancement, and management of historic centres and cities at Sapienza-University of Rome. He is also deputy coordinator of the development cooperation project OCSHC “Oriental Cuba Small Historical Centres” (2022-2025), funded by AICS Italian Agency for Development Cooperation and carried out by the Roma Tre University with the Oficina del Conservador de la Ciudad of Santiago de Cuba and the Universidad de Oriente (Santiago de Cuba). From 2022 to 2024 it was also coordinator of this project. From 2020 to 2024 he was Director of the Joint Master ReUHREF “Recovery of Urban Heritage and Real Estate Finance” (Roma Tre University – University of Rome “Tor Vergata”). His main research themes are: infrastructures mobility and territory, rules urban and suburban settlements; urban renewal of historic centres. Actually, on these issues he carries out and coordinates researches and projects both at nationally and internationally level and also in developing countries.
